Commission art:

A commission piece of work is undertaken on the basis that the work is carried out in the style of the artist.
The artist will work with the customer throughout the design process providing sketch designs for the customer who will confirm which design is to be used as the final art piece. Once the customer has confirmed the design then work will commence on the final piece. Please note that once confirmation has been received, Julia will be working from the chosen design and major changes to the artwork from this stage onwards will not be accepted. Please be very certain that you are happy for Julia to commence work on the final piece and to make any changes before your final confirmation is given. Any changes that are made during the painting or after its completion are done so at the discretion of the artist. The quote for work includes all materials, shipping and the time that has been calculated to complete the piece of art. Any changes to the work at any stage which the artist takes on and which prolong the duration of the commission work above and beyond the calculated time for completion will incur additional charges.

Unwanted commission work: When you commission a piece of work with the artist you are entering into a commitment with the artist. The item of work is to be paid for in full and no refunds will be issued, this is due to the personal nature of a commission piece and the fact that it may not be resaleable by the artist due to this fact. The artist will create your commission artwork in good faith and it is the responsibility of the customer to acknowledge the time, skill and materials spent creating this work in that they fulfill their obligation to pay in full for the work that has been carried out for them.

Children's Name Painting Commissions

The name painting will be created with a theme that is chosen by you, the customer. The customer is responsible for checking that all details are correct when ordering as incorrect names and dates of birth and other relevant wording cannot be changed once the painting is underway. If a painting is received with an incorrect spelling and it is the fault of the customer, there will be no refund issued. If the mistake is on the part of the artist the customer will be offered a full refund or a replacement painting of the same value.

Name paintings are bespoke pieces of art and will take approximately 7-10 days to complete from payment being received and processed. Please allow extra time during busy periods, and for orders that are being shipped internationally.

Refunds and returns:

If you receive an order that is unwanted, please get in touch within 48 hours. The goods must be in the exact condition they were received in, and returned in strong and secure packaging (we request that you use the packaging that the items were sent in please). The cost of returning an unwanted item is the responsibility of the customer and the item must be returned within 7 days.

Refunds will be made to you through paypal or by cheque as applicable, to your home address.

Refunds and returns do not apply to commission art work due to the personal nature of a commission piece.
