FAQ’s & Workshop Information

1. What should I bring?

You just need to bring yourself, all materials are provided.

2. What will I learn?

Using acrylic gouache, you’ll learn how to paint different layers to build up a wintery scene and by the end of the workshop you’ll have a beautiful decoration to take home.

3. What’s the venue like?

The Bradbury Makers Shed is situated next to the beautiful walled garden in Hillsborough Park, Sheffield.

There is an accessible toilet.

There’s plenty of room to work in the Makers Shed which is a light and airy space, with access to the walled garden which dates back to 1779. There is also a lovely cafe called Depot Bakery, which is adjacent to the Makers Shed, and where you might want to go for a bite to eat before the workshop starts.

4. Workshop Schedule

The workshop begins at 1pm, and you’re invited to arrive from 12:50pm to get settled in.

After a short introduction we will make the most of our time together and begin painting our decorations. I’ll be on hand to give demonstrations and to answer questions throughout the afternoon.

Tea, coffee and seasonal treats will be provided (you can let me know about any allergies or special dietary requirements on the booking form).

The workshop finishes at 3:30pm.
